Tony’s lifetime

Tony was born at home in Capmartin road  Coventry to  our mum Daisy and. dad Ernest, He was their first born. The year after  our dad was sent to war. Mum and Tony went down to Worcester to live  where all  their families lived. Then in Feb 1941 his sister Val  was born. In 1945 we moved back to Coventry to live in Highfield road  then in 1946 we moved to North street  where our sister Pauline was born. This in when Tony first started supporting Coventry City football Club , who he supported for the resr of his life. He was also a big Elvis fan who he enjoyed since  1954 when he also became a Teddy Boy. He worked at the Keelavite factory in Meridan ,He wasalso in the army doing his national service when he was 18 yrs for 2yrs He also worked for Coventry Transport on maintenance from there he went to The Standard motor company then. to Purgeot Motor company from which he retired aged 64yrs  due to ill health. He met Carmen 35 yrs ago and they have been together ever since. God Bless you my beloved brother Tony forever loved always missed. You loving sister Val and Frank xxx❤️❤️
